🔥 From Humble Beginnings to a Backyard Empire: My Journey Building Larry’s Custom Grills

There’s a lot of negative talk out there about America’s economy — and trust me, I’ve felt it too. But I’m living proof that the dream isn’t dead. It just takes sweat, skill, and the will to keep pushing.

 

I didn’t come from money. I didn’t have investors. What I had was a grinder’s mindset, a love for building, and a garage full of mismatched tools. That’s where it started — bending steel on makeshift benches, cutting parts with sparks flying a foot from the drywall, and welding with fans on full blast just to keep the heat down.

 

Back then, my shop was half chaos, half ambition. I’d take whatever jobs came my way — toppers, grill grates, even repairs — and stack every dollar I made toward better tools and bigger dreams.

 

⚙️ From Garage Builds to a Full Fabrication Shop

 

I outgrew that garage. Not because I had everything figured out — but because I refused to quit. I poured concrete, built a building with my own hands, and turned a side hustle into a full-blown business: Larry’s Custom Grills.

 

Today, I build custom Santa Maria and Argentine-style grills for families, food trucks, backyard warriors, and serious pitmasters all across Florida. Every grill that leaves my shop carries not just craftsmanship — it carries my story.

 

From the hand-cranked lift wheels to the firebox built to last, everything I make is meant to stand the test of time — because I know what it took to stand up in the first place.
